McGill™ HID temporary lighting fixtures are designed and packaged for quick installation. Many contractors use temporary HID fixtures to light their work sites. Instead of modifying Low-Bay fixtures for this application, McGill's HID Temporary Lighting allows them to purchase a product designed to do the job faster and easier.

Features

  • 400 W Pulse Start Metal Halide lamp provides over 6' candles of illumination at a 6.1 m (20 ft) mounting height
  • Lighting layouts available that conform with OSHA requirements for light output
  • Type "O" lamp and mogul socket complies with NEC 2008 Section 410.130(F)(5) and ANSI C78.387
  • Quick-attach durable 254 mm (10 in) welded wire guard mounts directly to the body to protect lamp and lampholder from accidental impact
  • Fixture is factory wired at 120 Volt, but can be rewired internally for other voltage settings
  • Compact size for easy handling. Low-profile fixture design keeps it up and out of the way of activity below
  • High light output and long lamp life. Open-air ballast for cooler operation
  • Hook with locking feature. Optional bottom trap available
