Daniel Series 1200 Liquid Turbine Meters

Daniel

Load rack and marketing terminal operators worldwide rely on Daniel™ Series 1200 Liquid Turbine Meters for accurate, repeatable performance during fiscal measurement or inline blending operations. The low-maintenance meters feature a self-cleaning, flow-through bearing design that enables higher flow rates and an extended flow range on light hydrocarbons and light crude products. Highly durable, potted electronics improve meter performance by providing a superior combination of a new dual-channel preamplifier and one or two pickoff coils. The optional second pickoff coil guarantees total pulse integrity, virtually eliminating the possibility of missing or double-counted pulses, further improving measurement accuracy.

Features

  • Ensure fiscal measurement accuracy with pulse output linear with flow rate and 10:1 rangeability (turndown)
  • Maximize accountability with high-frequency pulse resolution that enables measurement of minute increments
  • Achieve maximum volume throughput and minimum pressure drop with high-performance stainless steel internal assembly
  • Eliminate missing or double-counted pulses by achieving total pulse integrity with optional second pickoff coil
  • Simplify maintenance with new threaded lid that allows easy access to preamplifier and pickoff coil(s)
  • Easily upgrade UMB-equipped meters to the new LME housing that features potted electronics to improve durability
  • Rely on stainless steel or tungsten journal carbide bearings to improve durability and minimize maintenance
  • Confidently use within the guidelines of API MPMS, Chapter 4 (proving) and Chapter 5.3 (measurement)
