Daniel™ Series 500 Control Valves are an ideal solution for tank safety, remote on-off control, bypass control and other applications requiring extremely low pressure drop. Rather than using the flowing stream as a power source, the valves are designed with a spring-biased power cylinder that operates at 30 psi (207 kPa) minimum for full stroke and are limited to maximum pressure of 150 psi (1034 kPa). This power cylinder can be operated pneumatically or hydraulically using electric, pneumatic or hydraulic pilot valves. An aggressive-products option is available for additives or oxygenates that create challenging conditions, including alcohols, MTBE, TAME and reformulated fuels.
