Utility Rebates

In a number of markets throughout both the U.S. and Canada, local electrical utilities and related organizations are offering rebates for the purchase and installation of energy-efficient products and systems. Through an initiative that Emerson Network Power has been developing over the last few months, we are working with these utilities to help our customers get cash back for their purchases of energy-efficient Liebert products and systems.

In general, there are two types of rebates being offered: custom and prescriptive. Custom rebates are offered for new technologies that promise long-term energy savings, such as the Liebert XD cooling system, which places cooling near the heat source to reduce overall energy consumption. In contrast, prescriptive rebates are given for tested and true energy-efficiency measures, such as variable frequency drives (VFDs) and high-efficiency motors.

Typically, the process for obtaining custom rebates requires more involvement and testing, while prescriptive measures require a simplified application process with pre-determined incentives.

We have been working with utilities on both types of rebates. The utility rebates are an excellent way to reduce the overall cost to our customers of purchasing more energy efficient products. Not only do companies save money over time by reducing long-term electrical costs, now some companies may be eligible for immediate savings from local utility rebates when they purchase energy-efficient Liebert equipment.

Currently, energy efficiency rebates are only offered by specific electrical utilities in limited geographical areas. Programs and requirements change frequently, so please contact Emerson Network Power to learn more.

Please check below for our current listing of energy-efficiency rebates offered by specific electrical utilities.
