- Established in 2007, the Emerson Manila Shared Services center supports both corporate functions and nearly all business units. It is Emerson’s first and largest shared service center, and has grown from a few hundred employees to more than 3,000 in 2013. Over the years, Emerson has invested more than USD 15 million on its shared services facilities in the Philippines.
- Emerson Process Management’s PlantWeb Solutions Group in Manila provides product development, customer support, advanced services, operations, marketing and sales support for Asia-Pacific customers and globally.
- Manila serves as the Asia headquarters for Emerson Network Power. The company markets uninterruptible power supplies, precision cooling, power switching and controls, and data center infrastructure management solutions.
- Emerson Climate Technologies in Manila supports Asia-Pacific markets with analytics, customer service, electronic component engineering, e-business, marketing communications, and technical services.
University partnerships. Emerson, through its business units, partners with local universities, including the University of the Philippines, Mapua Institute of Technology, and Rizal Technological University, to promote engineering as a career and to offer engineering, IT, and marketing internships with the company.
