Jay L. Geldmacher, an Emerson executive vice president, serves as president of Emerson Network Power’s Embedded Computing & Power business which designs, manufactures and distributes embedded computing and embedded power products, systems and solutions. Emerson Network Power overall posted sales of $6.8 billion in 2011.

Geldmacher joined Emerson in January 1996, and before that served in various management capacities with Knowles Electronics.

He currently serves on the board of directors for Owens-Illinois, and is a member of their audit committee.  In addition, he serves on the advisory boards for the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Eller Business School at the University of Arizona.

Geldmacher attended the University of Arizona where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing, followed by an executive master's of business administration degree from the University of Chicago.
