MBA Recruiting
The Emerson Corporate Sponsorship Program for MBAs recruits high-potential graduate students from top-rated university MBA programs who have an interest in joining our global company.
We annually interview more than 400 MBA candidates and hire approximately 20 to 30 individuals annually for full-time and summer internship opportunities at our operating companies and our corporate headquarters in St. Louis. These rotations are typically 18 to 36 months, after which time the individual can be assigned to a corporate or operating division position.
Participation in the Corporate Sponsorship Program is a special opportunity that creates a fast track to general management. This program helps to prepare MBA graduates for positions of leadership in our company. More than 70 percent of the MBAs hired in the last 10 years have remained at Emerson and have been promoted to leadership roles. In fact, Emerson CEO David Farr began his career at Emerson in the Corporate Sponsorship Program.
