The DeltaV Software Test Automation Developer Internship is available for summer 2010 or earlier in our Technology department, based at Emerson Process Management’s Process Systems and Solutions division world-wide headquarters located in Austin, Texas.  Internships with Emerson Process Management’s Process Systems and Solutions group offer an opportunity to work with industry experts creating and optimizing tools and engineering solutions often cited by customers as the best in the industry.

 

The DeltaV Software Test Automation Developer Intern’s responsibilities include:

Evaluation of newest test automation software and identification of opportunities to use them at Emerson

Pilot implementation of software test automation using newest tools

Migration of a legacy test automation suite to current tool set

Software Development of new tools for software test automation and statistics

Working with a senior Emerson team mentor to accomplish Internship goals

Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, with the goal of a career in software development or testing

Experience with programming languages, XML and SQL databases

Knowledge of C# and control system design are a plus
