Plyvinyl chloride (PVC) processing plants use vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) in a reaction to form PVC. The VCM is then recycled back into the process. In this recycle line, collateral polymer dust can cause clogging in many flow measurement instruments. Rosemount™ 8800 Vortex flow meters have an all weld non-clog design that prevents these issues from occuring. They are proven to perform phenomenally and reduce maintenance costs in this application.
