Refineries experience constant maintenance issues with high costs, process downtime, and inaccurate measurements in the delayed Coker application process. Feed stocks are generally thick tars and sludge from the vacuum tower, making measurement difficult. The Rosemount Vortex Flow Meter has an all-welded design with non-clog technology which eliminates unscheduled shutdowns due to clogging. Due to the all-welded design, the vortex flow meter does not require significant maintenance which reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
