If there are variations in influent flow due to weather conditions, equalization tanks act as a buffer and ensure that flow rates are maintained at consistent levels. In these applications, air diffusers are used to constantly agitate the mix, preventing the sewage from building up. This operation results in surface turbulence, increasing application complexity. The Rosemount 1208 Level and Flow Transmitter provides reliable and accurate level measurement, even in fast-filling or emptying tanks with turbulence, thus helping monitor equalization tank content and allowing for wastewater supply optimization.
