Leaching is a process in which acid solutions are used to extract minerals from ore. Level measurement is required in the leaching process to monitor and control acid distribution, help detect plugged lines and flooding, prevent pad instabilities and provide better insight into leaching efficiency.
The monitoring of level measurement in leaching pads can be achieved by the Rosemount 5408 Non-Contacting Radar Level Transmitter, which is not affected by process conditions and handles very demanding applications.
