Level Measurement in Water Drainage Stations from the Mining Industry

Optimize water management and achieve your safety and sustainability goals
Water Drainage Station Metals and Mining

Ensure sustainable operations with maintenance-free instrumentation

Mines need to manage water effectively to ensure the safety, efficiency and sustainability at their sites. From dewatering processes, where water that is not needed in the area is removed (mine dewatering, process dewatering) to water intake processes, where water is transported into the mine to use it in specific applications and with different purposes.

The Rosemount 1208 Non-Contacting Radar Level and Flow Transmitter monitors level and flow parameters in a reliable and accurate manner in dewatering and water intake applications, such as open channel flow, rivers, dams, pumping stations, process water tanks or storm retention basins. The sensor features an encapsulated design that withstands outdoor conditions and is submersible. Additionally, the transmitter is maintenance-free and resistant to process and environmental conditions such as condensation, rain or sunlight.
