Continuous Level Monitoring with Radar Technology

PVC is the world's third-most widely produced synthetic polymer of plastic. PVC resins are an end product in a PVC production facility. This inventory is held in storage silos prior to being delivered or packed. Operators need to monitor the inventory levels closely, but the great amount of dust generated during the filling process complicates the task. The relatively low dielectric constant makes measuring the true level of the stored PVC very challenging.
