Hot Plate Plastic Welding

Branson hot-plate plastic welding technology creates consistent high-pressure hermetic seals for a wide range of applications.

Completed Shapes and Strong Seals

Hot plate plastic welding joins two or more complex geometric shapes, curved surfaces and internal walls. Available in horizontal and vertical orientations, Branson hot plate welding systems can cut production costs by eliminating glues, solvents, adhesives and other consumables with no particulate or flash. For precise machine control, models include the Allen Bradley Compact Logix with color touch screen HMI, while interlocked safety doors maximize operator safety.

Hot Plate Welding Systems

The Branson HH Series horizontal hot plate welders are complete assembly systems designed to consistently join large parts up to 24" by 72" or multiple smaller parts. The heavy-duty construction and THK bearing system ensure consistent alignment of tools and platen. Welders include two vacuum and two mechanical part-clamping circuits, in addition to a heat platen swivel for service. Optimize production and performance with precise temperature, improved speed control and automatic cycle start.

The Branson HV Series hot plate welders are complete assembly systems featuring vertical heat platen designed to join parts up to 15” by 12” or multiple smaller parts. The compact design creates a small footprint that requires minimal floor space. Easily accessible nests and simultaneous part loading capability facilitate and expedite production. Vertical hot plate inserts allow for more convenient service, while interlocked doors on three sides provide easier access to tooling.
