Daniel SeniorSonic 3414 Four-Path Gas Ultrasonic Flow Meter

Daniel SeniorSonic 3414 Four-Path Gas Ultrasonic Flow Meter

Preferred worldwide for fiscal measurement, the next-generation Daniel™ SeniorSonic™ 3414 Four-Path Ultrasonic Flow Meter retains the field-proven, British Gas-chordal design while significantly increasing sampling speed with ultra-fast Daniel 3410 Series Electronics. This powerful, high-performance meter minimizes measurement uncertainty by enabling rapid detection of changing flow dynamics such as blockages upstream of the meter, abnormal flow profiles and liquid hydrocarbons. MeterLink™ Software displays a wealth of predictive diagnostics generated by the meter, providing expert flow analysis, flow disturbance alerts and suggested corrective actions, to expedite detection before measurement is impacted.

  • Emerson’s Flow Startup Service helps you realize the full benefits from your Micro Motion Coriolis flow Rosemount Magnetic or Vortex flowmeters — quickly and easily.

Certified Flow Field Service Technicians ensure the startup of your new meter meets your exact measurement expectations, from the very first time it is placed in operation. Startup services include verification of the sensor, transmitter and associated wiring installation, and customization and adjustment of all configuration parameters in the transmitter to match operating parameters using software tools such as Smart Meter Verification, ProLink III and AMS Device Manager.

Our technicians will review configurations and test all transmitter displays and outputs to ensure compatibility with plant controllers or indication devices, and commission meters by performing a meter zero check that verifies performance under process conditions. And, your technicians are welcome to observe, so they can be trained during the process.

    Emerson’s Flow Startup Service advantages:

    • Reduce cost, time and risk during the startup phase
    • Fast route to establishing KPIs for accuracy and performance
    • Ensure compatibility with plant controllers or indication devices
    • Enrich technician skills and system operation insight
  • Speed issue resolution with 3D view of the flow profile that indicates swirl, crossflow, asymmetry and turbulence
  • Get an intuitive view of meter health and extend calibration cycles to minimize costs and downtime
  • Reduce manual errors with automatic calculations of AGA 8 Compressibility and AGA 10 Speed of Sound
  • Virtually eliminate incremental pressure drop and reduce energy costs with a full-bore design
  • Improve operational efficiency with bi-directional flow measurement and increased flow capacity
  • Enhance performance in harsh conditions with rugged Daniel T-20 Series Transducers
  • Field-replaceable transformer module simplifies maintenance and maximizes uptime
  • Increase I/O with new Type 4 CPU Module with up to six frequency or digital outputs
