Daniel Preamplifiers for Liquid Turbine Meters

Daniel

Preamplifiers are a key component within Daniel™ Liquid Turbine Meters that reliably amplify and condition the low voltage, high impedance output emitted by the pickoff coil, transforming this output into high-voltage, low impedance pulses. Regardless of low or high frequencies, the preamplifier matches the characteristic output of the turbine meter to ensure continuous signal transmission. It offers high sensitivity at low frequencies to enable the meter to effectively measure the lowest possible flow rates while reduced sensitivity at high frequencies prevents spurious counting due to radio frequency interference (RFI) and other spurious signals to improve measurement accuracy.

Features

  • Regulation standards now demand more accurate flow measurement. With over 75 years of custody transfer experience, you can trust Daniel for reliable precision in prover calibrations and ensuring your prover is in compliance with measurement regulations.

By choosing Daniel as your prover calibration provider, you gain access to an unrivalled network of expertise and skills. These skills are brought together with calibrated and traceable test equipment to ensure the quality of your prover calibration. And, we’ll come to you when you request our Mobile Prover Calibration Service.

Essential to maintaining measurement accuracy, provers must provide a reliable means to verify meter readings and establish and certify the meter factors. Daniel prover calibration service can help you control product loss and gain substantial savings by providing:

    • On-site calibration of small volume provers sizes 8" to 40"
    • Water draw certificate of calibrated volumes
    • Prover seal leak check, repair and upgrade services
    • Inspection of hardware and electrical components
    • Quick replacement of genuine hardware parts
    • Upgrade recommendations to improve operation and performance of the prover
  • Improve measurement accuracy with continuous signal transmission during low or high frequency
  • Effectively measure the lowest possible flow rates with higher sensitivity at low frequencies
  • Prevent counting due to RFI and other spurious signals with reduced sensitivity at high frequencies
  • Communicate with a wide range of end devices using dual outputs
  • Reduce power consumption with no special power conditioning required
  • Rely on long-term performance with potted designs that endure significant shock and vibration
