Plantweb Optics joins the AMS family of products to increase analytics capabilities in condition monitoring software

AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 15, 2023) – Global software and engineering leader Emerson will transition its Plantweb™ Optics enterprise asset performance platform to the AMS family of solutions to provide users with a uniform solution for condition monitoring, workflow integration and more. AMS Optics will expand the AMS reliability portfolio to help organizations meet their boundless automation goals, providing a full suite of best-in-class condition monitoring technologies from the sensor, through the edge and up to an enterprise-wide collaborative environment.

In today’s highly competitive process manufacturing environment, many organizations find unified, comprehensive software solutions simplify management and collaboration for reliability teams, helping them more easily capture the most elusive performance improvements to drive more efficient and sustainable operation. AMS Optics will continue to be offered and further developed under its new name.  Transition to AMS Optics will occur automatically.
