Customers in the Houston area can now get even faster delivery of standard and custom process measurement and related products
AUSTIN, TEXAS (July 8, 2016) —Emerson recently moved its service center in Pasadena, Texas into a larger facility to expand its local manufacturing and assembly capabilities.
The expansion is in direct response to requests from customers to provide even quicker delivery and more customization of Emerson technologies. The Service Center houses service, design, manufacturing, and assembly operations for measurement technologies, which allows for same or next day manufacturing.
“Emerson is committed to delivering a quick response and personal service to help our customers maintain and improve their operations,” said Brendan Shackelford, regional service manager. “We have helped a major petrochemical facility nearby that had a seal failure in a critical application. The expanded capabilities at the Pasadena service center allowed us to build and deliver the seal by the next day, saving the customer up to $2 million in lost production time.”
Specific process measurement products which can now be manufactured or assembled at the Pasadena facility include Rosemount thermocouples, thermowells, and temperature sensors. Local manufacturing capabilities also encompass pressure, temperature and level transmitters—along with the related components required to make these measurements, such as impulse lines for pressure transmitters. Emerson technicians can also perform calibration at the Pasadena service center, so customers can quickly receive a complete process measurement system ready for installation and use.
