Small Businesses Drive Big Portion Of U.S. Economy
Small business. It may conjure images of a one-person shop run from a spare bedroom or a garage, but when it comes to the U.S. economy, there's nothing small about it. More than 99 percent of American businesses are small. In fact, small-business owners help to generate more than 45 percent of the total U.S. payroll. When small businesses go dark, the economy dims, too, making back-up power sources essential to a bright future.
