Developed by Emerson Education Services, MyTraining provides courses that hone critical thinking skills and help ensure employees keep pace with industry innovations. The training is geared toward specific teams within your workforce and founded on rigorous IACET (International Accreditation for Continuing Education and Training) practices and policies.
MyTraining offers maximum flexibility, allowing plants and their employees to choose when, where and how to take the courses. Tailored to an employee’s personal learning style, the training builds on skills and competencies needed for specific core tasks and roles. This knowledge can be put to work immediately in your plant, helping employees increase their productivity and advance their career.
Courses are available through:
Instructor-Led Training — Live courses that can be attended in-person or virtually.
Online/On Demand — Web-based courses completed at the trainee’s own pace.
On Site — In-person training at a company site or at Emerson’s facility.
With the MyTraining portal, trainees can search for classes, register and track their training. For employers, the functionalities in MyTraining augments and complements your company’s learning management system, resulting in a more robust way to oversee employee training.
MyTraining meets standards set by the International Accreditation for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a set of criteria established in 2008 that consists of policies, processes, templates and tools designed to deliver best-in-class experiences for those taking our courses. Adherence to IACET standards ensures the same high-quality training regardless of where the course is taught. Our certified instructors go through a rigorous training program to qualify as trainers, and we have many other team members across the globe who help ensure quality in every aspect of our education program.
