Product Description

The Rosemount FCL Free Chlorine Measuring System measures free chlorine in fresh water. The free chlorine system includes a transmitter (Rosemount 56 Transmitter or Rosemount 1056 Transmitter), a Rosemount 499ACL Free Chlorine Sensor, a pH sensor (if required) and a constant head flow controller. The transmitter and flow controller are mounted on a back plate, and quick disconnect Variopol (VP) sensor cables are pre-wired to the transmitter, making installation and startup fast and easy.

0 to 10 ppm as Cl2. For higher ranges, consult the factory.
Accuracy
Accuracy depends on the accuracy of the chemical test used to calibrate the free chlorine sensor
Temperature Range
32 to 122°F (0 to 50°)
Pressure Range
3 to 65 psig (122 to 549 kPa abs)

Wetted Materials:
Overflow Sampler & Flow Cell: Acrylic, polycarbonate, polyester, Kynar(R), nylon, silicone
Rosemount 499ACL Free Chlorine Sensor: Noryl™, Viton™, platinum, polyethersulfone, polyester, wood, silicone
Rosemount 3900VP pH Sensor: Stainless steel, glass, Teflon, polyphenylene sulfide, EPDM, silicone
