Online Watercut Measurements

The Roxar Watercut meter is industry leading for stable, full bore measurements and maintenance free performance. The combination of the high performance  Microwave Resonance technology and world class manufacturing has made this meter number one for highy demanding watercut measurements for over 30 years. Full bore continuous measurements are vastly superior to probe technology covering only a part of the pipe cross section and costly- inaccruate- sampling technologies. 

Microwave Resonance™ Technology

Unlike other technologies, Emerson’s unique Microwave Resonance™ technology tracks an energy peak that occurs at a resonance frequency defined by the fluids permitvity, unaffected by the temperature of the electronics, ageing and calibration.  The Microwave Resonance frequency with empty sensor is measured with high precision equipment at the factory and stored in each unit as a calibration constant. This means calibration free and less affected by environmental conditions.

Full Bore Scalable Solutions

The Microwave Resonance is perfectly suited to be scalable to all pipe dimensions and so provides a full bore measurement  solution for even large scale oil transport pipe lines. The Roxar Watercut Meters are available from 1 inch full bore to 36 inch full bore solutions.

Autozero

When the meter is provided with a line density input, for example from an inline coriliolis meter, it automatically adjusts for a change in oil density. This can be important for applications where different types of oil are transported through the pipe. The autozero functions uses known correlations between density and oil permitivity.
