Rosemount-SAM42 Acoustic Particle Monitor

Rosemount™ SAM42 Acoustic Particle Monitor

Product Description

Optimize the production of your well by instantly monitoring sand rates directly from the device while minimizing the risk of erosion within your pipework and increasing your asset’s safety. Rosemount SAM42 is a non-intrusive acoustic particle monitor that provides instant sand rates and an indication of solid particles production right from the device, with the ability to detect low concentration solids in challenging conditions. These features combine to offer industry leading sand measurement repeatability and sensitivity in field conditions.

Particle detection: Typically from 15µm* in gas, and 25µm* in liquid, depending on flow velocity (*Under reference test conditions)

Features

  • Non-intrusive sensor with onboard signal processing that sends processed data from device to DCS with no software requirement
  • Compact Explosion proof design supports the simplest installation in field, with reduced maintenance costs
  • Provides real-time data for solids production allowing for improved decision making
  • Best in class temperature performance: Works on pipes with surface temperature between -40 °C (-40 °F) and 290 °C (554 °F)
  • Able to detect solids at ultra-low concentration of solids in the flow
  • Industry leading repeatability (better than 99%) and senzitivity
