PUNE, India (November 8, 2017) – Having successfully supported Emerson’s process automation business for over two decades, the Emerson Export Engineering Center, located in Pune, Maharashtra, earmarked its 20th year anniversary with a celebratory event on 8th November, 2017.
The event was planned and executed by the center’s employees which had over 1,800 attendees, including Emerson Automation Solutions business leaders from India and abroad. Some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion included Jim Nyquist, group president - Systems and Solutions; Jamie Froedge, president - Process Systems and Solutions; and Giovanni Zullo, president, India Middle East & Africa.
Further to addressing the employees with their thoughts on the Emerson Export Engineering Center’s journey, the Emerson business leaders congratulated employees who had completed 20 years of service at the center, applauding their contributions to the center’s growth since its inception.
Established in 1997, the Emerson Export Engineering Center was the company’s first global engineering center to be set up outside the United States. The center presently has a workforce strength of over 1,500 employees who service Emerson’s global network of customers.
