Product Description

Emerson's (formerly GeoFields) DataFrame ASG Software allows users to design and generate any type of pipeline sheet, including alignment sheets, integrity sheets, and construction sheets. Flexible, reusable templates can be configured to unlimited spatial data sources. Once created, the sheets can be distributed to users for batch sheet production projects or on-demand sheet generation. A library of sheet bands enables users to easily display data in a wide variety of styles for any type of sheet, from classic alignment sheets to construction, integrity and risk sheets. Symbology, graphic representation and labeling are highly flexible and use the same powerful tools available in Esri's ArcGIS® suite. Press-quality sheet output is generated one at a time or in batches and stored automatically in a centralized location on the server in Adobe® PDF format for easy access by authorized users.

Features

  • DataFrame ASG supports Esri's ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR) data models, including Utility Pipeline Data Model (UPDM), Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) 7, or custom APR implementations.
  • Highly flexible template designs enable greater customization; users can reproduce traditional sheets such as construction or as-built alignment sheets, or develop new formats for risk and integrity analysis.
  • Templates provide all necessary elements for automated sheet generation, including designing the sheet layout, configuring data sources, setting sheet scale, and adding data-driven labels.
  • The software is built from the ground up to support systems with parallel pipelines in the same right of way.
  • Users can identify when data should only be drawn to a primary line or all displayed lines with parallel pipelines drawn adjacent to each other, allowing greater visibility and reducing liability of incorrect line sections being compromised.
  • Advanced classification and symbology options allow ranges or symbols to be set; users can vary symbol size, color and shape based on data properties (inlet diameter, pipe specification, age, condition, etc.).
  • Unlimited variations of robust, precisely formatted sheet designs allow for customization based on operational requirements.
  • Sheets can be designed to any size and contain any number of bands from the extensive library that includes band formats to support risk assessment, integrity management, construction projects, pipeline route planning, and more. 
  • The software's Index Generator ensures users can store and maintain the data that supports sheet generation, including sheet indexes and matchline ranges.
