Il servizio ponte per assistenza Guardian è disponibile per chi ha aderito all’assistenza Guardian con la versione v11.3.1 di DeltaV e offre hotfix DeltaV e aggiornamenti della sicurezza Microsoft per un periodo massimo di tre anni dopo la scadenza dell’assistenza software convenzionale (CSS, Conventional Software Support).

The Guardian Support Bridge Service for DeltaV™ v11.3.1 provides flexibility to perform control system upgrades when your schedule allows. For facilities unable to upgrade their DeltaV v11.3.1 software prior to the end of standard support in December 2016, Emerson offers the Guardian Support Bridge Service. This service provides a bridge of support until the system can be upgraded to a more current version of DeltaV software.

Increase flexibility for upgrades and implementation: Adjust the scheduling of your software upgrade from DeltaV v11.3.1 to a time that suits your business needs.

Reduce risk of system security issues: Once CSS ends for a DeltaV software version, Microsoft security updates are no longer tested and provided for that version. Emerson’s Bridge Service keeps your v11.3.1 system secure after CSS ends by continuing to provide security and anti-virus software updates.

Be confident in your plant operations:. If you experience a critical issue with your installed DeltaV v11.3.1 software, Emerson consultants will troubleshoot and, if required, create a hotfix to address your technical issue.

Upgrade more easily: Upgrade planning can be tedious, especially when you have to perform an upgrade in multiple stages. Customers enrolled in Guardian Support Bridge Service can easily upgrade from DeltaV v11.3.1 to DeltaV v12, v13 or v14, without having to perform an interim upgrade.
