It simplifies input/output distribution and data mapping, supports failsafe mode if communications between devices are lost, and incorporates a built-in design that does not require an additional application on the RTU or flow computer to run. The integration of DeltaV FBxNet with Remote I/O allows up to 21 FB3000 RTUs along with FB1000 and FB2000 Series Flow Computers to communicate with one another across multiple locations.
