The powerful DeltaV™ FB3000 Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) is a highly scalable, cyber-secure controller with the expanded data capacity to fulfill the demanding requirements of today's upstream and midstream oil and gas operations as well as water/wastewater operations. The RTU is engineered to protect itself against modern cyberattacks, with all firmware digitally signed at the factory. The device checks it own firmware every time it boots and will not accept any modified or unknown firmware. The DeltaV FB3000 RTU further bolsters cybersecurity by supporting the DNP3 Protocol Secure Authentication v5 (SAv5) that enables highly secure communication across wide area operations. The rugged RTU also offers superior form and function for ultra-reliable control and measurement of liquids and/or gases. Customized logic and control allow the flexibility to configure and program the RTU to fulfill standard to complex requirements while secure, built-in flow measurement calculations make it easier than ever to prove compliance. DeltaV FBxConnect Configuration Software
DeltaV FBxConnect Configuration Software is a Microsoft® Windows® based program that enables users to easily configure, monitor, service and calibrate FB1000 and FB2000 Series Flow Computers and the DeltaV FB3000 RTU. The Credential Management Tool within the software also allows usernames and passwords to be simultaneously reset on multiple devices to ensure a more cybersecure environment and improve compliance with TSA directives. Designed for ease of use, DeltaV FBxConnect Configuration Software provides at-a-glance monitoring, quick access to commonly performed tasks, and configuration wizards to enable users to quickly deploy our devices. An intuitive, ribbon-based menu system allows users to effortlessly navigate to the configuration screens during setup. In addition, the software offers extensive dropdown menus, radio buttons, and software-selectable I/O and communications to further expedite setup and reduce the likelihood of errors. A global suite of calculations and engineering units are also selectable in the software, ensuring users have a comprehensive tool that serves a range of operational requirements. DeltaV FBxDesigner Programming Software
DeltaV FBxDesigner Programming Software enables users to configure both continuous and discrete control applications for the DeltaV FB3000 RTU without adding unnecessary programming complexity. The standardization and widespread acceptance of the IEC 61131-3 programming environment by most PLC manufacturers allows users to choose the appropriate controller hardware system without needing to learn a new programming language. In addition, the flexibility of the IEC 61131-3 programming environment allows the basic set of functions to be augmented. Emerson has capitalized on this flexibility to provide users with product-specific, higher-level functions in our DeltaV FBxDesigner Programming Software. Users can program the software to maximize the DeltaV FB3000 RTU's distinguishing capabilities while strictly adhering to the IEC 61131-3 standards. Operating from a Microsoft Windows platform, DeltaV FBxDesigner Programming Software offers user-friendly functionality, including zooming, scrolling, customizable toolbars, drag and drop operations, a shortcut manager, and dockable windows. With DeltaV FBxDesigner Programming Software, users have a streamlined process for creating, editing, compiling, debugging and documenting simple to complex process control applications for the DeltaV FB3000 RTU.
