The Rosemount Tank Gauging System communication is based on an open industry standard, Foundation Fieldbus, which allows integration of any device supporting this communication protocol. The system can also easily connect to virtually all major host systems via Modbus, Modbus TCP, OPC or IEC 62591 (WirelessHART)
The Rosemount 3490 Controller has data logging capabilities, allowing storage of up to 200,000 data points. These logs can be easily accessed and downloaded through an integrated web server, conveniently available via the Ethernet port.
