Detect Compressor Valve Decline with Temperature Monitoring
There are several valves on a reciprocating compressor. These valves are prone to decline in performance, and identifying a failing valve is historically done by taking manual temperature measurements. The Rosemount™ Synchros™ Temperature Monitor is an easy to install, cost-effective solution to monitor the surface temperature of the valve cover to pinpoint failing valves. When used with the Plantweb Insight™ Asset View Application, this device can be configured to provide an alert when the valve cover temperature exceeds a specified threshold.
