Reliable Level Measurement That Is Unaffected by Dust
Wastewater treatment plants incinerate waste collected during the preliminary and primary treatment stages, reducing it to ash. This ash is stored in tall silos and, after additional processing, can be repurposed for uses like construction.
Fly ash generates significant dust during filling and emptying, which can interfere with optical, ultrasonic and laser-based level measurements. Fly ash also tends to stick to surfaces, causing buildup on sensors in contact with the material and on tank walls.
