Resident Engineer Service for Measurement Instrumentation

Emerson’s Resident Engineer Program augments your workforce by embedding factory-trained and -certified serviceperson at your site to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of your Emerson Measurement Instrumentation. The site resident engineer works closely with your maintenance team to plan and execute any necessary services and field calibrations, as well as provides expertise for your measurement instrumentation.

Service Details

Emerson will place an experienced serviceperson at your site to assist with a wide range of activities - from startup support to maintenance and outage planning to on-the-job training for your plant personnel. 


All Resident Engineers will adhere to Emerson’s maintenance standards and work procedures for your measurement instrumentation.


Resident Engineers are available via contract for short-term and long-term assignments (i.e. a few weeks to a few years) based on the needs of your facility and will work to meet your schedule.
