A site walkdown is a planned activity with your maintenance personnel to capture information about your measurement instrumentation through visual checks. During an Emerson walkdown, we will:

• Conduct a visual check of all installed instruments to determine their operational status
• Identify alarms and maintenance needs
• Flag critical instrumentation requiring prioritized maintenance
• Identify parts in stock on-site
• Discuss maintenance practices with your personnel and identify training needs

Site Evaluation Report:

Following the walkdown of your site, we will provide a detailed report containing:

• List of all measurement instrumentation installed in your plant with model and serial numbers
• Visual ratings for your instruments based on their health condition
• Prioritized actions to address instruments in alarm status or needing maintenance
• Lifecycle status of your instruments with options for upgrades or replacements for obsolete devices
• Recommended parts to be stocked on-site based on your installed base
• Recommended training programs for your personnel
