Proactive maintenance schedules utilizing advanced diagnostics

Primary sludge applications in wastewater treatment plants can contain substances that are susecptible to coat the electrodes, causing the mag meter to fail. The process has to be shut down, the tube removed, cleaned and placed back in-line causing siginificant downtime and added maintenance costs. By utilizing electrode coating diagnostics, an alarm is able to be set to provide advanced warning of a pending failure. Advanced warning of a pending failure gives the ability to schedule maintenance and service on the mag meter before a failure occurs, therefore reducing down-time and maintenance issues.
