Rosemount™ 405 Orifice Primary Element

The Rosemount 405 Orifice Primary Element delivers accurate flow measurements, built with either a compact orifice plate or a proprietary 4-hole conditioning plate. This compact design helps eliminate potential leak points and decrease procurement costs, providing a complete and tested flow measurement point. Unlike traditional plates, the conditioning orifice plate reduces pipe straight run, it needs only two pipe diameters upstream of the meter, providing a flexible and reliable metering solution. This flow meter provides measurements for closed loop control, general purpose monitoring, and custody transfer applications. Available in line sizes up to 12 in. (300 mm), it is designed for gas, liquid and steam service and operates well in harsh process conditions.
