Improving Fleet Management with Real Time Data
Manage your entire fleet with full visibility through the MyData platform. Track performance, detect anomalies, and compare efficiency over time to boost predictive maintenance and cut costs. Easy-to-use tools help improve operations, reduce emissions, and drive smarter propulsion optimization decisions across every vessel.
Elevate your fleet management and reduce costs
MyData is a modern digital data-driven solution. Data is accessed, cleaned, and transmitted to the cloud continuously. Turning data into actionable result is not easy. Raw sensor data is time compressed and aggregrated. This moves into specific developed models for report generation. This data is elevated to more actionable insights leading to various benefits.

Traditional maintenance on a scheduled basis and based on accumulated experience involves inspecting and servicing vessel equipment at regular intervals lacks the insight which can be gained from Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
- Untimely equipment failure
- Compromise on the safety
- Expensive repair cost
- Unpredictable Engine Reliability
- High Fuel consumption due to inefficient engines
- Impact on emission compliance due to delayed maintenance
For vessels with controllable pitch propellers (CPP), savings can be documented through direct A/B onboard comparison. Operators can run the vessel for a period with SmartPropulsion activated and for a period without it, at the same speed and conditions, and compare the fuel consumption directly.
This A/B comparison is possible because CPP vessels allow the system to optimize the interaction between propeller pitch and engine load, enabling a measurable, real time fuel reduction.
We can also see the fuel savings during speed testing done during sea trial. This is controlled testing at various RPM/Pitch combinations to see the fuel savings when the SmartPropulsion system is engaged or dis-engaged. Please note that speed testing is conducted under controlled conditions and does not cover the full operational profile of the vessel.

Because no two voyages are identical, traditional comparisons do not work for fixed pitch propeller (FPP) vessels. Emerson instead uses a Lloyd’s Register–approved hindcast model that analyzes a completed voyage and calculates how much fuel could have been saved if the vessel had been operated optimally within the charter‑party limits.
The model identifies overspeed, unnecessary accelerations, and power fluctuations, then compares the actual voyage with the optimized reference voyage using SmartPropulsion. The difference represents the vessel’s documented potential savings if used with SmartPropulsion.
