Storage tank level measurement applications require accurate and reliable readings, as process engineers will perform special batch processes when storage tanks are full. In many existing applications with tall storage tanks, long lengths of capillary tubing is used with remote seals. Depending on seasonal temperature variations, the readings are prone to measurement errors of up to 5% of span. By switching to a Rosemount™ 3051S ERS™ System, you can minimize variance without compromising accuracy. Since there is no additional weight added from the capillary tubes, no special platform is needed to support the transmitters.
