Level Measurement in Dough Mixers for Pastry Production

Accurately measure dough levels despite the challenge of constantly moving blades in industrial mixers.

Level Measurement in Dough Mixers for Pastry Production

Reliable, Continuous Measurement with Non-contacting Radar

Sifted flour, along with pre-measured sugar, yeast and flavorings, are added to an industrial mixer with temperature-controlled water to create dough. The dough mixer is a constantly moving process where mixing blades are used to mix in the additives and to create a smooth-blended product. Given the presence of the moving blades, a non-contacting level measurement is mandatory.
