AUSTIN, Texas (Dec. 22, 2022) – Global software and engineering leader Emerson has signed a collaborative agreement with Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, to provide software, implementation, operations support and lifecycle maintenance to help life sciences manufacturers digitalize their operations.
Emerson’s comprehensive software portfolio combined with Atos’s deep expertise in system integration and product support will help life sciences companies unlock the value of digital transformation and maximize the return on investment to their organization in the implementation and support of the technologies.
Today’s life sciences manufacturers recognize the value of digital manufacturing technologies to improve their ability to accelerate the time-to-market of life saving treatments safely and quickly to patients in need. Emerson and Atos will work closely with life sciences manufacturers to provide specialized software and services to help them unlock more flexible, modular manufacturing with technologies that enable real-time release and increased autonomous operation.
Emerson’s life sciences software offerings including Process and Knowledge Management™, Real Time Modeling Software, the Syncade™ manufacturing execution system, and Mimic™ Simulation Software will be available to life sciences customers via subscription through the Guardian Digital Experience. Users will have greater scalability and will gain increased flexibility to pilot solutions that might otherwise have been hard to implement due to prohibitive overhead and footprint.
Atos will provide, implementation, training and ongoing product support to users on Emerson’s comprehensive software. Leveraging its life sciences consulting expertise, Atos will deliver comprehensive change management to secure high solution adoption across all involved customers’ functions.
