U.S. Charitable Giving

We take pride in our history of funding critical needs in our communities across the United States and work every day to continue that legacy of corporate responsibility.

Emerson believes access to a quality educational experience from early childhood through secondary schooling is a key component for building a more equitable future for the next generation.

Through purposeful investments supporting outcome-driven initiatives, Emerson and the Emerson Charitable Trust will now focus its U.S. corporate giving on initiatives that directly impact the developmental and educational experience of children and youth. We will prioritize projects that serve under-resourced communities and minority populations with outcomes related to measurable performance.

Our corporate philanthropy focus areas in the United States are:

Supporting access to quality early learning opportunities, with a special emphasis on under-resourced populations.

Parental Resources

Funding Exclusions

Emerson is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, both within our company and in our communities. It is our intent to consider grant requests only from organizations that pursue these same principles.

  • Emerson will not provide funding support to organizations that deny service or other involvement based on race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender/gender identity, disability status, national origin, ethnicity or age.
  • Emerson will decline to fund requests for individual needs; underwriting of deficits and post-event funding; or any funding specified for loan repayment or investment funds.

“Empowering every student with access to quality early education and academic resources, regardless of his or her race, gender or zip code, will build incremental opportunities and progressive change."
