Fisher FIELDVUE DPC2K earns a Gold Award from Control Engineering in the Actuators, Motors, Drives, Motion Control category

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (Aug. 5, 2025) – Control Engineering magazine subscribers have selected Emerson’s Fisher™ FIELDVUE™ DPC2K Digital Process Controller as the 2025 Product of the Year in the Actuators, Motors, Drives, Motion Control category. These awards recognize the best new control, instrumentation and automation products of the year based on technological advancement, service to the industry, and market impact.

The DPC2K represents a modern approach to pneumatic controller technology. It can replace the pneumatic controllers on most valves, regardless of manufacturer, allowing the same base model to be used in a variety of applications.

Preconfigured as a single-loop controller with a linkageless, non-contact travel sensor, the DPC2K simplifies usage, enhances flexibility, and improves safety and reliability compared to standalone pneumatic controllers. It offers a variety of remote control and positioning applications, including PID and remote setpoint control, using electronic or pneumatic signals.
