PAC Machine Edition version 10.7 speeds development with 87% faster time to validation and 66% reduction in stop mode store time

AUSTIN, Texas (Nov. 10, 2025) – Emerson has announced the newest version of its intuitive and flexible application programming platform, PAC Machine Edition 10.7. Focused on increased performance, the latest release of PAC Machine Edition improves software performance and data availability for PACSystems™ users.

Version 10.7 of PAC Machine Edition delivers significantly increased software performance. Time to validate online has been reduced by 87%. Users will also see a nearly 2/3 reduction in stop-mode store time and a 74% improvement in verify equality.

Enhancements to PAC Machine Edition’s Data Monitor also allow users to save trended data to either a local disk or shared network location. The data can be further analyzed in the new Data Replay software tool. Using Data Replay, users can set benchmarks, identify anomalies and export content for more extensive data analytics.

PAC Machine Edition 10.7 also features new autosave functionality to prevent data loss. In addition, new advanced proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controllers with deadband helps prevent wear and tear on actuators due to frequent small changes, such as continuous valve adjustment of less than 1% stroke.
