Bettis EHO Electro-Hydraulic Operator (Smart)

The Bettis Smart Electro-Hydraulic Operator(EHO) is a self-contained electro-hydraulic actuator designed to actuate quarter-turn valves. It is designed to provide fail-safe actuation for Emergency Shut Down(ESD) valves. The Bettis Smart EHO has advanced diagnostic capability and can be connected to DCMlink for remote monitoring.

Supports Modbus, HART (HART7), and FOUNDATION Fieldbus, ensuring compatibility with plant‑wide control and asset‑management systems.
Certified for ATEX Ex d IIB T4, IECEx Ex d IIB T4, CSA, and FM hazardous environments.
Achieves SIL 3 (Smart EHO, spring‑return) and SIL 2 (standard EHO) safety levels per IEC 61508 / IEC 61511.
Designed for low power consumption, enabling reliable operation at remote sites, with optional solar‑power capability.
Optional accumulator provides stored hydraulic energy, enabling multiple actuator operation during power loss and supporting modulating control when required
