Spectrex™ Detector Controller

UV/IR detector controller with sub3 ms response, RS485 Modbus communication, and control of up to two detectors and suppression cylinders for highspeed fire protection.

The Spectrex™ Detector Controller is a micro controller based fire detection and suppression control unit designed for reliable operation in demanding environments. Compatible with UV/IR dual sensor detectors, it delivers rapid and accurate fire detection with response times of less than 3 milliseconds while maintaining strong immunity to false alarms. The controller accepts input from up to two external detectors and monitors and activates up to two suppression cylinders, reducing system complexity by eliminating the need for a separate control box. Integrated RS485 Modbus communication supports efficient system configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance. Automatic and manual Built In Test (BIT) functions verify system integrity, while support for manual activation and optional discrimination provides operational flexibility. With a compact, robust design and proven reliability, the Spectrex Detector Controller is well suited for space constrained and mission critical fire protection applications.
