As president of Emerson’s test and measurement business, Ritu Favre is responsible for driving innovation and growth in the test and measurement market and executing Emerson’s strategy as an automation leader. Prior to her current role, Ritu was general manager of NI’s global business units. With more than 30 years of experience in tech, including significant roles with leaders in the semiconductor industry, she brings a diverse perspective to helping customers achieve their product performance goals.
Before joining NI, Ritu served as the chief executive officer of NEXT Biometrics and was on the board of directors at Cohu. She has helped build profitable businesses while holding senior management positions with market leaders such as Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor and Synaptics, and currently sits on the board of directors of Valmont Industries. Ritu is also a member of the Global Semiconductor Association’s Women’s Leadership Council and an advisory board member to Microfacturing Institutes, a 501(c)3 charitable organization delivering high-tech education programs that increase diversity and broad participation in industry employment.
Ritu received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Arizona State University.
